
Just JUX
Juxtapose Performing Arts Center recognizes and acknowledges that our Well Rounded Artist Program may not be for everybody and that a student may consider a path that is isolated to one area of study. For that, and for the students training in anticipation of declaring an emphasis at a later time, we offer our Just JUX program.
FORM Program (Foundation Of Rhythm & Movement)
This program will target, but not limited to, students between the ages of 3-5 years. Each class will meet once a week for one hour that consists of a combination class of ballet and tap. Terminology and retention lessons will be implemented into every class with curriculum books.There are three different skill levels within this program. These students are also eligible to enroll in a Musical Theatre Prep class that meets once a week for one hour.
EDPrepS Program (Early Developmental Preparatory Skills)
This program will target, but not limited to, students between the ages of 6-9 years of age. Each class will meet twice a week for one hour. They will have one ballet/tap combination class and one ballet/contemporary combination class each week. Terminology and retention lessons will be implemented into every class with curriculum books. There are three different skill levels within this program.These students are also eligible to enroll in a Musical Theatre Prep class that meets once a week for one hour.
General Studies
This program will target, but is not limited to, dancers between the ages of 10-18 years. There is not a maximum or minimum limit to the instructional hours and is open to more flexibility in creating your schedule.There is the opportunity for open enrollment in any area of study depending on the skill level and experience. There are eight different levels within this program.
Just Jux students produce one end of year show each year.
